  • Competitive pay scale of €36,691 - €39,558 dependant on experience

The ideal Candidate will:

  • Hold or be pursuing a Level 7 qualification in Social Care / Applied Social Studies (must be registered with or eligible for registration with CORU)

OR

  • Hold a Nursing Degree (must be registered in the relevant Division of the Live Register of Nurses maintained by the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)

  • Demonstrate knowledge of the legislation, regulations, and standards applicable to the provision of accommodation-based services to vulnerable people

  • Have strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Have a full driving licence


Working Pattern:

  • 12 hour shift

  • Day shift

  • Night shift

  • Overtime

  • Weekend availability


Job Overview

Embrace are recruiting Social Care Workers for our children’s residential houses. We are seeking applications from Social Care Workers who have a passion for supporting people in the community and helping them to develop within their homes. The successful candidate will be joining a strong team and will be overseen by a supportive management team.

Our ambition is to offer a strengths-based service that focuses on residents’ core interests and encourages their development of new skills. Underpinning all of this is an understanding that we are offering a home for people, and an assurance from us that these homes offer a range of home comforts, and on-site amenities and enable local engagement with community initiatives and organisations.
